Amazon Basics Spanners & Wrenches AMZ1701 Editorial Review
The Amazon Basics Socket Set, featuring 123 pieces, has garnered generally positive feedback from customers, particularly for its affordability and quality Construction. Users have praised the set for being robust and versatile, highlighting that it includes a comprehensive range of sizes, especially in the smaller categories (13mm and below), which is beneficial for certain applications, like working in tight spaces. Many reviewers, including professional mechanics and maintenance technicians, find this set to be an excellent value for the price, making it a reliable choice for everyday use or emergency situations. However, some users pointed out a significant limitation: the largest socket is only 20mm, which they felt was insufficient for larger jobs. Reviewers noted that the set has several duplicate sizes among the smaller sockets, which detracts from the overall utility for those who might need larger sizes. Additionally, the included screwdriver set was criticized as being unnecessary, as most buyers likely already possess superior tools. The tool case also received mixed reviews for being somewhat cumbersome, making it challenging to retrieve individual pieces. Overall, the Amazon Basics Socket Set is seen as a smart investment for those seeking reliable and cost-effective tools, suitable for a range of tasks, but potential buyers should be aware of its size limitations. **
