Lekue Steamers 3400500V09U008 Editorial Review
The Lekue Collapsible Steamer is a versatile and convenient kitchen tool that allows you to steam your favorite vegetables with ease. With a 2.5-quart capacity and a perforated bottom, this steamer can fit a large amount of vegetables while ensuring even cooking. The collapsible design allows for easy storage, with a height of only 2 inches when collapsed. Customers have praised the durability of this steamer, stating that it is able to withstand regular use without any issues. It is also easy to clean, with some users preferring to toss it in the dishwasher for convenience. However, there are a few drawbacks to Consider. One customer mentioned receiving the product with a broken and damaged box, which indicates a possible issue with packaging. Another customer was disappointed with the advertising, as they were expecting a microwave steamer rather than a pot insert with a perforated bottom. Additionally, one customer reported a slightly "off" taste in the vegetables steamed with the product, but this may be an isolated incident. Overall, the Lekue Collapsible Steamer is a great option for those looking to steam their vegetables with minimal water. The collapsible design and durability make it a convenient tool to have in the kitchen, although there may be some concerns with packaging and taste in rare cases.
