Daytona Helmets Hats & Caps 6002G-M Editorial Review
The reviews for this helmet reveal a mix of customer experiences, predominantly highlighting the helmet's aesthetics, comfort, and fit. Many users appreciate the attractive graphics and the sleek design, noting that it does not give a "mushroom head" appearance, which is often a concern with other helmet styles. The adjustment system, using a ratchet clasp, received praise even from those initially skeptical, as it appears to provide a secure and customizable fit. However, there's a significant cautionary note amongst some customers regarding the helmet's safety features. The lack of DOT approval led to mixed feelings, particularly from those who expected more robust protection. Some users expressed disappointment regarding the helmet's structural integrity, likening it unfavorably to a bicycle helmet and questioning its value for money. In terms of sizing, a few feedback items suggest that the helmet may run smaller than usual, advising potential buyers to Consider going a size up. Overall, while the helmet is well-received for its looks and comfort, it is essential for Consumers to align their safety expectations and understand the trade-offs involved. **
