Monroe Struts 172562R Editorial Review
The Monroe 172562R Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly seems to have garnered a mixed reception among customers. Many reviews highlight its perfect fit and improved ride quality after replacement, particularly for Honda Accord models from 2009 and 2012. Users have expressed satisfaction with how well the struts performed initially, with one customer noting that their car felt "like new" following installation. The installation process was generally reported as smooth, suggesting that this product is user-friendly for those engaging in DIY repairs. However, the product also comes with some significant caveats. Several customers reported issues after a short period of use, with one mentioning that the struts developed leaks only 11 months post-installation. Another customer experienced a failure where spot welds broke loose, rendering the product ineffective and leading to disappointment in its durability. This inConsistency between the initial satisfaction and the subsequent failures has left some users questioning the long-term reliability of the Monroe strut assemblies. Overall, while the Monroe 172562R Quick-Strut assemblies can provide immediate improvements in ride quality and fit, potential buyers should be aware of the risk of durability issues that some users have reported. **
