The Data Conversion Handbook by Analog Devices is highly recommended for circuit and system design involving analog-digital conversion. The book is packed with detailed information from the industry leader about typical problems and how to avoid them, including power supply noise, layout Considerations, and keeping digital transients out of the analog signal chain. It's a very practical and useful book for mixed-signal design engineers. The explanation of device parameter specifications and great example circuits were found to be incredibly useful by an electrical engineer who found the book tremendously helpful in covering topics they either never delved into or only took intro courses on. The book covers not only ADC/DACs but also amplifiers, filtering, sampling, and PCB design techniques in order to mix analog and digital design. Although the book is a few years old, it is still useful for basics and deeper Considerations of ADCs/DACs.
