Monroe Struts Editorial Review
The Monroe Quick-Strut 172540 Suspension Strut and Coil Spring Assembly for the Ford Mustang has received mixed reviews from customers reflecting a range of experiences. While some users have praised the product for being a perfect fit for their specific Mustang models, noting that it rides comparably to the stock components, others have reported significant durability issues. For instance, one reviewer mentioned a split boot occurring only a year after installation, indicating potential quality concerns. Additionally, several customers expressed dissatisfaction with the longevity of the strut assembly, stating it failed within two years, prompting them to recommend alternatives like Motorcraft or KYB. Overall, while the Monroe Quick-Strut may offer an easy installation and satisfactory performance for a brief period, the concerns about its longevity and reliability make it a less favorable option for long-term use. Some users feel that better alternatives exist in the market. **
