The Isolation Transformer/Ground Loop Isolator is a device that helps to remove noise caused by ground loops from the cable TV. It can only be used to prevent humming or buzzing caused by improperly grounded cable lines and not for other electrical devices. It works by cutting the outer grounding connection between the outside ground lines and the internal grounding lines and produced excellent results for removing buzzes and noise. Based on the Q&As posted and reviews, it is not perfect but tolerable and very effective.
