This editorial review is for the Power Systems Analysis and Design 4th Edition textbook. The reviews suggest that this textbook is an excellent reference for engineers and great for power system design. It is a standard-issue textbook and it is recommended that the version with PowerWorld in it is obtained. The condition of the textbook was said to be great, even though it was purchased used. The textbook is recommended for high-level power systems courses and is well laid out, with each chapter prefaced by a journal article on a related topic. There are lots of examples and a good logic flow throughout the chapters. Although the reviewer has not had a chance to work on many problems yet, they purchased the book new on Amazon.
